To get here they’ve gone through three tough rounds of pitching to packed-out audiences. They practised until they were pitch perfect and now the hard work’s paid off. Congratulations to Grace Systems who were announced as the winner of PITCH on Centre Stage today.
Their Centre Stage pitch was in front of Rakuten Fintech Fund’s Oskar Miel, Kabbage’s Kathryn Petralia, Earnest’s Louis Beryl and Web Financial Group’s Dirk Behrens. They were up against Spendesk and Akiba, the other PITCH finalists. Our judges decided that Grace Systems deserved the title of PITCH winner.Winning PITCH is a sure sign they’re headed in the right direction in the big data space. We caught up with Grace Systems and asked, how confident were they going into the final?
We were very confident. We know we have a broad product, something that deals with a lot of problems in this industry. Our product deals with a lot of different challenges.
You always have tension and nerves – but it’s nice to be there. We came from Holland to Madrid. First we were 24 out of 100 shortlisted and then we were three out of 100! And we were confident!
We put a lot of attention to our pitch. We built the confidence ourselves.
