MoneyConf hits La N@ve, Madrid, from June 6-7. If you’re new to the city, here’s all you need to know about transport in Madrid.
You can take the 24-hour airport express bus, available from Terminal 1, 2 and 4. It takes 35-40 minutes to reach the city centre and tickets can be bought on the bus for €5. The city centre drop-off/pick-up points are located at the Plaza de Cibeles or Atocha Train Station. It runs every 15 minutes during the day and every 35 mins at night.
You can also take the Metro from the airport to the MoneyConf venue, La N@ve. The pink line (Line 8) is located in Terminal 2 and is easily accessible from Terminals 1 and 3. There is a separate station for Terminal 4. It takes 50 minutes and includes two transfers at Nuevos Ministerios (Line 10) and Plaza de España (Line 3).
The closest Metro to La N@ve is Villaverde Bajo Cruce on the yellow line – use the Santiago exit. The metro service runs from 6.05am to 2 am. Please be aware that intermittent strike action may occur on the Metro throughout June.
You can take a taxi directly from the airport taxi rank. This takes about 20 minutes and costs approximately €30. The official Madrid taxis are white with a red diagonal stripe across the front door. You can also download the apps My Taxi or Uber.
An Uber will cost around €35 from the airport to the venue and will take around 20 minutes. As it’s a new building, we advise directing the taxi driver to La N@ve, Calle Cifuentes, 5, Villaverde, 28021, Madrid. Taxis will also be available just outside the venue on both event days if you want to return to the city centre.
You also have the option to hire a private car. Try Servicon, Aerocity, or BookTaxi Madrid.
Night Summit venues are all approximately 20-30 minutes by taxi or Metro from La N@ve.
